Shahrukh Khan to celebrate every win of KKR team in IPL 4

Finally all is going well for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) owner and actor Shahrukh Khan in the IPL 4 season. The actor is so impressed with the performance of the team that he has planned to celebrate every win of the team in the IPL matches. To make this happen SRK has taken break from acting for next 3 months. This is contrast to IPL 2 when he returned from South Africa after his team was loosing every other match.

Shahrukh is very happy with both senior and junior players in the team. After the win of KKR over RR, SRK said, "It really feels great that the senior guys are holding together the entire team. I have just come back from Ajmer sharif. I am praying more and more for the team."

With SRK team leading the points table in IPL 4 and team has scored its 3rd consecutive victory, even the fans in Eden Garden, Kolkata who have remained absent in initial matches have started coming to cheer the team. This is despite Sourav Ganguly not in the team and his fans highly disappointed.

This is first time when KKR team has suddenly become hot favourite of many people and fans are quite optimistic for the team reaching into semi final. In all the previous IPL seasons, the team has been out of the contest before semi finals. In his usual sense of humour, team owner Shahrukh said that he will remove his shirt and show his six pack abs if the team makes it to final.

Shahrukh sings ‘Bheege Hont Tere’ for KKR

The Baadshah of Bollywood and celebrity co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, Shahrukh Khan was on cloud nine when his IPL team won the match against Rajasthan Royals on Sunday, at Eden Gardens.

To celebrate the victory of his team, King Khan organized a bash for KKR in Kolkata. Opportunely, crooner Kunal Ganjawala was also in Kolkata on the D-day and he too was invited by SRK for the party.
Known for his magnetic persona and exceptional ways of entertaining, Shahrukh bowled over everyone at the party by singing ‘Bheege Hont Tere’, the moment singer Kunal turned up at the party venue.
In a conversation with the media, a source said, "Kunal was in Kolkata when SRK threw the party and he invited him. But little did Kunal know that a surprise awaits him. Kunal's song Bheege Hoth Tere is one of his most popular numbers and as soon as he entered the party, SRK greeted him by singing the song himself".
Shahrukh was so elated about his team’s success that he didn’t mind turning a singer for KKR during the celebrations.
The source said, "SRK is not a great singer. But when he is around his people, he doesn't care. He sung almost the entire song and also got his team members to join him. It was a treat for KKR and also for Kunal. Having SRK croon one of the songs he has sung thrilled him".

The existing list of Shahrukh’s best friends includes the worldwide famous director Karan Johar who always been there for Shahrukh and has lended a hand in an unmatchable success of Shahrukh. Juhi Chawla who played as a co-star in many of Shahrukh’s movie and since then they considered each other as best friends. Kajol, a superstar herself and wife of an immensely popular actor Ajay Devgan also a best buddy of Shahrukh Khan and they have also done several movies together and the pair is considered to be the top duo for a romantic blockbuster movie. Rani Mukherjee, Farah Khan, Hritik Roshan and Madhuri Dixit also shares the exclusive list.
A source says that Shahrukh and Sachiin have been close friends now. He was in attendance at all the matches KKR played previous year.
But this year, shooting obligations put him away. When Sachiin stepped into the energy drink market, it was Shah Rukh who facilitated him launching it. The juvenile man is all set to his Bollywood acting debut with a thriller termed as Aazaan in which Shahrukh has been an immense support.
Sachiin says, “I know Shah Rukh through common friends. He has been supporting my brand as a friend though we have no official contract with him as brand ambassador. It was generous of him to launch the product. I am fortunate to get an invite from him to attend his KKR matches. He is a great man to know!”
The film debuts Sachiin Joshi as an army man who has to go undercover away from enemy lines to save the country from the danger of biological warfare. The film is being directed by Prashant Chaddha.

As far as the close buddies Juhi and SRK are concerned, the collaboration does not end with owning KKR and that of Dreamz Unlimited: a production house jointly owned by Shahrukh, Juhi Chawla and the producer Aziz Mirza. The friendship between the two has taken on another productive dimension with SRK joining hands with Juhi and her better half Jai Mehta to erect a cricket stadium. The proposed stadium will be built in Porbander. Apart from its association with Mahatma Gandhi, Porbandar is also the native place of Jay Mehta.
Consequently, the collaborating partners decided on it. The stadium to take after the name of Jay Mehta’s grandfather as Nanji Kalidas stadium will be centered on the existing Duleep cricket ground.
Regarding the construction of the proposed structure SRK in collaboration with the Mehtas have struck a deal with the local cricket association. In the initial phases of construction, batting pitches will be put to shape followed by those of stands and players’ dressing rooms. The expertise of a U.K based company will be taken into account for the construction of outfield and stands. The total expense is estimated at Rs. twelve crore.
SRK and Juhi Chawla’s love for the game together with Jai Mehta’s business acumen make them perfectly deserving to pursue the given venture.

As we all know that Shahrukh Khan has been avoiding the Twitter like a plague after a lot of things went wrong in his personal life and apparently relationships also soured over a few comments. Thus he decided to swear off the networking site for good. However, when recently he was asked about it in an interview, he said that since people always have agenda to their words he decide to walk away.
Shahrukh Khan is also happy with the way things have turned up for Kolkata Knight Riders and he hopes that this time his team would surely take the coveted cup Home. In the interview to Times of India, when asked as to why controversies have been a part of the franchise SRK was very diplomatic. He said that given the profile of the Franchise this is bound to happen and that he remains unfazed by the controversies.
The actor was however upset regarding the fact that things did not work out between the team and Sourav Ganguly and he was happy with the way that the team is working this Season. He is also happy that the people of Kolkata has forgiven him and everyone is thronging Eden Gardens again.  

Talking about his Twitter Account he said that since he works he feels that he has to be vocal with his fans but somehow that is not working at all. Further adding he said, “I am somebody who leads life the most natural way. When I work I need to connect with people, so I come out and talk. I was using twitter to make myself vocal. But people kept saying things. The world has become such now that everything has an agenda to it. So I walked away.”

Don’t mix religion with politics: Shahrukh Khan

You don’t expect someone to lift their shirt and show their abs to the august gathering such as one that was at the India Today Conclave in New Delhi. But Shahrukh Khan not only got away with that -- with applause to boot -- but also shared a few nuggets of his wisdom.

Shahrukh, who has developed brawns for his home production Ra.One and Farhan Akhtar’s thriller Don 2, did not shy to lift his shirt up when he was asked if a six-pack was “lurking behind that sharp suit”.

Pulling his shirt up to give the audience a peek at his abs, SRK said: “I don't know whether it is a six pack, but it is definitely a four.”

SRK’s stunt was approved heartily by the gathering where the topics under discussion were quite serious.

“My wife always tells me, 'Please don't try to be funny at serious events...please don't speak too much'. And I am told this is a very serious event,” Shahrukh said.

On a serious note, the super star spoke about the politicisation of the word Mumbai and how Bombay has now become a dreaded word.

“Indian cinema is going from Mumbai to Melrose. Though I would have preferred saying Bombay to Beverly Hills, that kind of alliteration is not allowed to Muslim actors,” SRK said.

Talking about communalism and using of religious agendas by political parties, Shahrukh was eloquent.

“I truly believe that politicians should not use religion as an agenda. It is just not acceptable. The issues like education, development and women's upliftment, which are sidelined are the basic political issues which need to be looked upon,” Shahrukh observed.

The actor’s secular mindset was revealed when he reflected: “I am a Muslim myself and I am married to a Hindu lady and my children know about all religions and it’s my conscious decision to make them aware of it. Religion is a personal thing and nobody in this world has the right to come between you and your God.”

We will be making an announcement as and when everything is finalised and would request you to wait for the same."
The movie will be directed by Yash Chopra, and like YRF’s other projects, this film is also anticipated to be a romantic drama.
Well, with rumors about Kat and SRK pairing together, YRF's untitled has already become a much awaited one.

Shahrukh Khan’s Don 2 would have some new adventures

The director Farhan Akhtar of Don 2 wants to keep some essence of Don but he gives his word that Don 2 would have a new adventure of its own and it would be fun to watch Shahrukh Khan in action again. For the new look of Shahrukh Khan which created such ripples in the media world it is believed that the King Khan himself took a lot of interest in the creation of his look for Don 2.

Sporting a tattoo in his right hand and long tresses with his six pack abs SRK is sure to create some news when Don 2 comes out. Commenting on this Farhan Akhtar said that although he did try to maintain some essence of the previous Don but he says that Don 2 is a completely new story with a new adventure.
Shahrukh Khan is really excited about two of his projects this year. One is Don 2 as he is doing a lot of work to create something new and another is his home production Ra One where he has got together a whole new production team and is working really hard on the technical part of the film.
In Don 2 Priyanka Chopra is starring opposite SRK but Arjun Rampal called it’s quits from the project for reasons unknown. Although the movie is a sequel to Don but the story would be entirely different. RA One on the other hand is a science fiction and Shahrukh is playing a good guy in the movie as opposed to Don 2 where he is again getting under the skin of a gangster.

Having been a super fan of Hugh Jackman Shahrukh reportedly had watched all the films in the 'X-Men' series. Struck by the idea of making a film that enchants children, the King Khan believably watched cartoons, read comics in establishing a relevance for the subject. Consequently, the conception of the plot of Ra.One was planned and rest as they say is history. Dabangg director to announce film with Shahrukh Khan in two days

Finally after much speculation, drama and some heated action over tweeter Abhinav Kashyap  has finally decided to a film with Shahrukh Khan and he would announce the project in two days as per a source. The much talked about feud between the director of Dabangg and the Khan’s was over when Abhinav left the sides of Salman Khan to find his own way in the film industry.

The director however vehemently denied that he had anything to do with Shahrukh Khan and he just want to make his own movies. Shah Rukh Khan's Ra.One teaser

The teaser of Shah Rukh Khan's science-fiction superhero flick 'Ra.One' is out, showing the actor in a new avatar.

The film, which features Shahrukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal, is directed by Anubhav Sinha and is produced under Khan's production company, Red Chillies Entertainment.

Ra.One or 'Random Access - Version 1.0' is high on special effects with a team from Hollywood working on the stunts. Khan himself performed many of the stunts in the film.

Ra.One is all set for a Diwali release on October 26.

SRK, SLB to fight out at box-office again

Reportedly, SRK’s ‘Always Kabhi Kabhi’ and SLB’s ‘My Friend Pinto’, are releasing on the same day, reminding us of the time when 'Om Shanti Om' and 'Saawariya' had released simultaneously.
King Khan clearly defeated Bhansali back then with almost all the crowd being attracted toward SRK’s film in which he played the lead role.
But there is uncertainty as to who will emerge as the winner this time, as both films sound equally exciting and SRK is the producer of the movie.
Apparently, the stakes are high this time around as Shahrukh is not starring in AKK and the cast consists of mostly newcomers, while Bhansali’s film stars ‘Dhobi Ghat’ fame Prateik Babbar and some aspiring lot of actors.
SRK’s 'Always Kabhi Kabhi'
Shahrukh Khan's production 'Always Kabhi Kabhi’ is directorial debut of celebrated television and radio host Roshan Abbas. The movie is all about friendship and school life.
Abbas said, "Always Kabhi Kabhi is a young film about teenagers and required a fresh casting and I have roped in some exciting new faces for the movie. Add to that, it's a blessing to be backed by none other than SRK who believed in the project and the Red Chillies banner."
The movie features ‘Love Aaj Kal’ fame actress Giselli Monteiro, newcomer Zoa Morani, Ali Fazal and Satyajeet Dubey in pivotal roles.
SLB’s 'My Friend Pinto'
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s production ‘My Friend Pinto’ is directed by newcomer Raghav Dar and will have Manisha Koirala’s re-entry ticket into Bollywood.
Just like his blockbuster film ‘Khamoshi’, ‘My Friend Pinto' is also a catholic-based movie.
Shakti Kapoor’s daughter Shraddha Kapoor is also being introduced in the movie and Bhansali is quite upbeat about the fate of the film.
Now, with both the movies releasing on the same day, let’s wait and watch who wins this time!

The Baadshah of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan, who is known for his wit and humor, donned a serious look at the India Today Conclave on Friday, as he discussed the woes concerning the film fraternity and politics.

He also lifted his shirt and showed his abs to the dignitaries present, saying that he thought they were not six packs, but four packs. What followed was a loud applause with everyone cheering him.
Moving on, his session 'Movies, magic, life -- Making movies work in a brand new decade' was a huge hit and everybody was enthralled and enchanted by the wisdom that King Khan had showcased at the event held in New Delhi.
About the main problem concerning Bollywood, SRK said, “We need scientific screenplay writing and the organization and discipline we see in Hollywood and the science of marketing firms.”
On the concept of crossover cinema, he said that it was a farce and there was no such phrase and instead the filmmakers should focus on taking Bollywood to the world.
SRK talks about politics
After Bollywood, the next topic on the ‘My Name Is Khan’ actor was politics and pointing out to the current turmoil in the political world, he said that politicians should work at doing well for the masses.

SRK joins Facebook
In a major disappointment to his more than 8 million followers on the micro-blogging site Twitter, SRK has reportedly quit the community and joined the social networking giant Facebook.
“Hoping to get support from the Indian Government and film associations on the forum, he will also be promoting his film Ra.One on the site. The move is primarily for fans,” said a source.
SRK is currently busy promoting his superhero movie 'Ra.One', releasing on Oct. 26, 2011.

Shah Rukh beats Aamir's record

Shahrukh Khan's Ra.One has beaten Aamir Khan's film 3 Idiots' record of the highest price for satellite rights. Ra.One's satellite rights have been bought for a whopping amount of Rs 40 crore. The rights for 3 Idiots were sold for Rs 36 crore, reported Mid-Day

Ra.One is also one of the costliest films so far and with state of the art technology and snazzy costumes, this is no surprise. SRK's Ra.One has several international celebrities; the special effects are being done by Hollywood artists, so this film sure needs to recover its costs.
And this is just the beginning, knowing Shah Rukh, he will leave no stone unturned in promoting the film and he'll do it with style!
