Shahrukh Khan: Would he have been a better choice for Dhoom 3?

Aamir Khan, the undisputed numero uno of Bollywood, has been roped in to play the baddie in Yash Raj’s ‘Dhoom 3’. ‘Dhoom’ brand has become a successful franchise which can have innumerable editions of cop-goon chase. In fact, ‘Dhoom’ is one of the only franchises of its kind in Bollywood. Though, ‘Golmaal’ is often referred to as a franchise, it’s neither a prequel-sequel story nor are the characters predefined and set. Rather it has the same bunch of actors who play different characters in different films.
Coming to ‘Dhoom 3’, Aamir shall be seen doing what Hrithik Roshan and John Abraham have done in the previous two instalments i.e. try to escape from the cops. However, there were also reports earlier that Shahrukh Khan was also being considered for ‘Dhoom 3’.
The King Khan has already played the baddie in the Yash Raj flick ‘Darr’. SRK has also deftly portrayed negative character in films like ‘Anjaam’ and ‘Baazigar’ while Aamir has rarely exhibited a grey character.
Hence, it would be refreshing to watch the ‘3 Idiots’ actor donning a different cloak. But would Shahrukh have done a better job? May be or may be not…..your guess is as good as mine…
